Privacy statement
What is personal data?
Personal data is information that tells us something about you or that we can relate to you.You share personal data with us when you are a guest with us or when you have contact with us. Examples are your name, your telephone number or your e-mail address. But also the IP address of your computer or a bank transfer. It is all information that we can relate to you.
What do we use personal data for?
We need the personal data to be able to register a reservation, to make an invoice, to be able to fill in the obligatory ‘fiche de police’ to be able to keep up the ‘registre des campeurs’, to know the age of children for possible animation activities and simply to be able to keep in touch with you.
What personal data do we collect?
Below you can see what personal data we collect and therefore can use.
Think of this kind of data:
- Your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address. Also the name of your partner and the names and dates of birth of your children.
- Your nationality.
The details on your identity document. - Information about the length of your stay with us.
We do not process sensitive personal data, such as Citizen’s Service Number (BSN).
Furthermore, we never use sensitive data relating to health, religious beliefs, political or philosophical convictions, sexual orientation or ethnic origin.
With whom do we share personal data?
In principle, we do not share your data with others. We will only do so if there is a good reason or an obligation. There are strict rules regarding the sharing of personal data. Of course, we abide by them.

Security measures
We make every effort to ensure the security of our systems and personal data. For example, we use two internet lines, an open ‘use’ line for all guests and a secure line for our internal systems. Does something go wrong? Then we take action. We also report them to the competent authorities and to you, if necessary. View or modify your personal data.
Do you want to know what personal data we have recorded about you? Then you can make use of your ‘Right of Inspection’. Or do you want to change your data and thus make use of your ‘Right of correction’.You also have the right to have your data removed from our records, the ‘Right of oblivion’. General Terms of Sale
Reservation
Each reservation is valid per family and per stay. Reservations can be made by letter or by internet. Bookings become firm on receipt of a deposit of 30% (pitch) or 30% (rental property) of the total cost of the stay, plus the cost of booking and cleaning if the property is rented. Camping Le Ch’ Timi decides whether or not to accept your request and does not have to justify its decision.
Once your request has been accepted, a confirmation will be sent to you.
Payments can be made by cheque (France), credit card (VISA, Mastercard), cheques de vacances ANCV or bank transfer.
Rental objects:
The rental agreement is personal and non-transferable. The tenant is obliged to use his own sheets and pillowcases. The number of persons must not exceed the number of persons indicated in the type of accommodation (4 or 6 persons).
The arrival time is between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m., and the balance of the stay and a security deposit of €150 are due on arrival. The accommodation must be vacated by 10 a.m. on the day of departure.
The inspection of the rental property takes place between 8am and 10am. If no irregularity, breakage or loss is found, the deposit of € 150 will be returned. The destruction or missing items will be charged and deducted from the deposit.
Pitches:
Camping Le Ch’Timi assigns pitches according to availability on the campsite. Requests for special pitches will be taken into account as much as possible. The number of persons per pitch is limited to 6.
Our rates include water, the camping fee and access to the pool. Electricity connection is optional. The tourist tax (taxe de séjour) is calculated according to the number of persons aged 18 and over. The pitches are available between 12 noon and 8pm on the agreed day of arrival. The balance of the stay must be paid on arrival. Pitches must be vacated by 12 noon on the day of departure.
Delay, premature departure, cancellation:
No discount will be given in the case of early departure or a different arrival date.
In case of delayed arrival, the pitch or accommodation will remain available until 24 hours after the agreed arrival date.
Cancellations must be made in writing.
In case of cancellation, the booking fees will be charged, as well as a compensation for the termination of the contract, equal to 30% of the total costs of the stay, if the cancellation is made more than 30 days before the agreed arrival date, or an amount equal to 100% of the total costs of the stay if the cancellation is made less than 31 days before the agreed arrival date or if you do not show up on the agreed arrival date. We advise you to take out a cancellation insurance.
Various:
All persons are subject to the internal regulations of the campsite as posted at the campsite reception. They concern security, hygiene, responsibilities, noise, parking, traffic in the campsite. Each guest remains responsible for his/her own camping accommodation (closing doors and windows when absent, taking good care of personal belongings). Everyone must respect the property, hygiene and quietness of the site.
Animals must be chipped and vaccinated and kept on a leash. If requested upon arrival, the vaccination booklet must be presented. The basic rules of hygiene must be observed in the rental accommodation and on the pitches. All visitors must report to Reception. Their vehicles must be parked in the car park outside the campsite or in the car park inside the campsite. Visitors are admitted under the responsibility of the guest who receives them.
In accordance with the provisions of Article L 152-1 of the Consumer Code, you can lodge an appeal free of charge with the SM2C (Centre de la Médiation de la Consommation des Conciliateurs de Justice) adresse: CM2C, 14 Rue Saint Jean, 75017 Paris.
By booking with us, you give your implicit consent to the processing of your personal data by us within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (which also includes the provision of information to service providers) necessary for the conclusion and execution of the contract and/or the agreement with the service providers and for the optimisation of the services offered. We also refer you to our privacy statement on our website.
